JADE

December -- Jade, a 4-year old GSD and former puppy-mill mom, saved by Stan & Carol.  Was fearful and aggressive, and now is confident and as sweet as can be.

Group Classes

Group Classes are a great way to learn obedience while socializing with other dogs and their people. And, they are a lot of fun!   Sunny Dogs offers classes at various locations along the Strand.  Classes typically meet one time per week for one hour for a pre-determined number of weeks.

*  Print Enrollment Form  *

Classes consist of a minimum of 3 dogs with handlers so as to create a social learning environment for your dog. There may be limitations on the number of dogs that can attend per class so that each dog can get an adequate amount of attention as required in the class setting. Dogs of any age are welcome! Some restrictions may apply as determined by Sunny Dogs.

ATTENDEES MUST PRE-REGISTER WITH SUNNY DOGS FOR CLASSES AT LEAST 24 HOURS PRIOR TO THE CLASS START DATE.

Basic Obedience & Socialization Class covers basic cues such as Sit, Watch Me, Down, Stay, Come, Heel, Loose-Leash Walking & Visiting.  General leadership tips and problem-solving techniques are provided throughout the class regarding how to discourage annoying behaviors such as jumping, digging, chewing and barking.  $99 - 6 weeks

AKC Canine Good Citizen Class will teach you to shape your dog to be a good citizen in the community!  A popular program founded by the American Kennel Club, this program emphasizes responsible dog ownership by teaching good canine manners and how to be a confident owner who has positive control of your dog.  The class ends with the CGC Test, a 10-point exam.  When your dog becomes a CGC, he earns an official certificate from the AKC, which is accepted by some businesses and insurance companies and may provide additional benefits.  $129 - 7 weeks

Reactivity Drop-In Classes give you weekly opportunities to work with other folks and their dogs for the benefit of learning to control your dog's reactivity to people and other dogs.  As these classes are drop-in, with locations to be determined based on weather and availability, you will need to contact Sunny Dogs for details as you plan to attend.  $20 - each

Additional information:

All attendees of group classes must show proof of up-to-date vaccinations and sign a Release of Liability.

Payment for classes must be made in full at the start of the first class.  Payments are non-refundable.
